Lochinver Homeowners Association Board Positions Up for Election for 2024

The following HOA Board positions will be presented and voted upon for a 2-year term of service at the 2024 winter HOA community residents meeting:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer (2)
  • Secretary
  • Board member at-large (2)

The Board will also submit a slate of candidates who are either current office holders who have agreed to seek another term or others who have agreed to have their names submitted for nomination to the Board.

  1. ACC/ Restrictive Covenant Committee - The function is to monitor Covenant compliance and promote community quality sustainability.
  2. Communications and Membership - The function is to maintain effective communication with homeowners regarding association issues, meetings, social or networking events via HOA website, newsletter, and community directory.
  3. Lakes and Common Grounds - The function is to provide oversight management of vendor(s) selected to perform operations and maintenance as identified thru contractual agreement for lake and community grounds as well as provide routine surveillance of community common areas and roads for the maintenance of environmental health, safety, and community common areas aesthetics.
  4. Swim/Tennis - The function is to provide oversight management of pool and tennis courts as well as provide hands-on administrative assistance with pool/tennis related summer activities.
  5. Social Committee - The function is to promote neighborhood harmony through the coordination of community sponsored social and networking events.
  6. Neighborhood Watch - The function is to interface with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s office and homeowners to promote community safety from vandalism, theft, home invasions, violation of posted signage and trespassing.
  7. Block Captains - The function is to serve as community ambassadors promoting the concept of community unity to existing homeowners and welcoming new community residents. Committee members serve as resources for residents on a street -by-street basis to address issues such as streetlights, mailboxes, or litter.
